Antique wooden till Gledhills .

An very good example of this type of English till. solid quite heavy includes a complicated but working mechanism incorporating a peg board for the user to mark up the price in s d of the sale, which in turn stamps the till record sheet, has a facility for a cross over record which I think is a reciept for the customer. Till rolls are still available on the internet or from stationers It has a mahogony finish, shows signs of wear and tear but looks very nice when freshly polished, some restoration work has been carried out and the till looks very good, would suit a small shop, car booter or for the village fayre, or just simply dispaly in your home as a talking point. When the handle is turned it releases the drawer and a bell rings quite loud to let you know there has been a transaction. I recomend collection as it is very heavy.
